Pastoral Care
Hospital Care:
A stay in the hospital can be a very traumatic experience, often it is a very lonely and harsh place. Jesus said “I was sick and you visited me.” We believe that it one of our most important duties as a church to show compassion to those that are in the hospital. We pray for those in the hospital and their families and make every effort to visit and pray with them. Some times it is difficult to know when a person is going into the hospital. If you know of someone that is going to be hospitalized please call and let us know.
Homebound Care:
We believe that a member that is homebound needs to be shown that the Church has compassion and cares for them. We have teams that visit when possible those that are convalescing at home or due to illness are being cared for in the home. We read the Bible to them, pray with them and bring tapes of the services to them if wanted.
Grief Care:
In the death of a loved one Pastoral Care will be there to minister to the family. We will be there alongside of you to comfort and encourage during this time of grief. Our Church family will be there the support and help with any preparations that are needed. To provide food and other necessary needs during this time of grief. The Pastor will help with planning and preparation of the funeral and memorial services as needed.
