About Us: Our Vision
* A Family Focused Ministry
We envision FAITH BAPTIST to be family based in its approach to ministry where the concept of family is taught and lived. It is a dream of families learning the truths of God’s Word so that they can be fully functioning as God intended. It is a dream of husbands and fathers functioning lovingly as head of the home, just as Christ functions as the head of the Church. We envision wives and mothers who function joyfully in the role that God has given them and children who grow up in a healthy environment where the faith and values of the Bible are instilled in their lives by the love and discipline of Godly parents. It is a dream of a growing church that understands the concept of the “family of God” and lives in harmony as brothers and sisters in Christ. It is a dream of a place where God’s concept of love is understood and lived to the fullest extent possible on earth.
*A Unified Church Expressing Itself Through Love
We envision FAITH BAPTIST to be a church of Believers who have grown in their understanding of God’s Word and as a result are able to express their faith and knowledge in a proper fashion. It is a dream of a church that expresses love for God through worship and expresses itself to other believers through fellowship. It would be a place where all conflict among Believers would be handled in a loving and Godly way so that there would be no division among the people.
*A Church Body Exercising Its Giftedness
We envision FAITH BAPTIST to be a church in which all Believers are active and involved in the ministry using their spiritual gifts. It is a dream of a church where those gifts can be discovered and used for meaningful and effective ministry. We envision a place in which the needs of the Body are willingly met by people who delight in ministering to others. A place in which Believers are discipled in the truths of God’s Word and are equipped to minister them.
*A Church Evangelizing the Community
We envision FAITH BAPTIST to be a church where individual believers and families are sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the unsaved people in our community. It would be a church where people are so excited about what God is doing in their own lives and families that they are eager to share the good news with neighbors, friends, coworkers, family, and strangers. It is our envision that the body be so enthusiastic and provide a testimony in which our faith is contagious and catches by example. We envision FAITH BAPTIST as a church that recognizes God intended some to plant, others to water, and God to give the increase.
*A Church with Global Outreach
We envision FAITH BAPTIST to be a church that is passionate about the Great Commission and expresses it by involvement in worldwide evangelization and church planting. It is the dream of using individuals and families from FAITH BAPTIST to provide help wherever we can to be used in effectively aiding in ministry.
