History Of Faith Baptist Church
In the early part of 1976 a small group of 18 began meeting in various homes for prayer and worship. The group increased calling themselves the “True Baptist Group.” On May 9, 1976, 22 individuals of this group met to organize a church which they named “Faith Baptist Church.” A small metal building was placed at the present location of Highway 35 (now 276) and 751. From this inauspicious beginning the church now has over 600 members and consists of 21,390 square feet of buildings on 1.9 acres.
